Eight playing cards are laid out on a black background: A pair of kings, queens, and jacks; one card with an intricate design in green and red; and another card, a joker, featuring a seated, white-bearded man.

In celebration of the special exhibition Celtic Art Across the Ages, Harvard student Lorena Alessandrini will share some of her favorite Irish stories, read in Old and modern Irish and translated into English. Focusing on themes of music and the otherworld of fairy folk, these stories will bring to life mythical heroes and epic battles of Irish literature and folklore.
