OFA Dance Open Studio: RootsUprising in Process

You’re invited to an open, in-process rehearsal of a new work titled Witness Trees with RootsUprising Dance Company, created by choreographer Nailah Randall-Bellinge. The work will be presented in the historic gardens and former plantation of Middleton Place in Charleston, SC, in the summer of 2026, and explores the symbiotic relationship between nature and the enslaved African laborers who lived and worked there.

Open Studios include Q&A and feedback exchange that bring community into the process. Be in the room while art is made, and be part of its shaping.
