Study Group with Mayor Tishaura Jones: Is Bipartisanship Dead? Governing Across Differences in an Era of Polarization

American politics is often defined by partisan division, yet governing still requires collaboration across ideological lines. In conversation with former Missouri State Representative Scott Dieckhaus, this session explores whether bipartisan cooperation is still possible in modern politics—and what conditions make it succeed or fail.

AUDIENCE: These conversations are open to members of the Harvard community. Please RSVP with a valid Harvard email address.

OFF-THE-RECORD: In keeping with our long tradition at the IOP to ensure honest and candid discussions of politics, all IOP study groups are off-the-record.
