Tue., Sep. 22, 2026, 12 – 1 p.m.
Public-health challenges cannot be solved by any one sector acting alone. Drawing on three decades of work across business, government, civil society, academia, and communities, Myriam Sidibé examines what makes cross-sector partnerships credible, scalable, and accountable. At the heart of the conversation is AB InBev’s ten-year, $1 billion Global Smart Drinking commitment, an ambitious and contested effort to reduce harmful drinking. Comparing this experience with handwashing and emerging work with girls in the sexual and reproductive health and rights space across Africa, Myriam will explore what unlikely allies can achieve together, where partnerships fall short, and what public-health collaboration must become next.
