ArtsThursdays: Threadgill/Iyer/Prieto present FIFTEEN

John Knowles Paine Concert Hall, Music Building
3 Oxford St.
Cambridge
Thu., Oct. 8, 2026, 7 – 9 p.m.

Saxophonist and flutist Henry Threadgill, pianist Vijay Iyer, and drummer Dafnis Prieto bring their acclaimed collective trio to the stage performing music from their new album, Fifteen, released in August on Nonesuch Records. The record takes its name from the number of years the trio has been performing together—first at a series of benefits for the New York City club the Jazz Gallery, and then around the US and internationally. Threadgill, Iyer, and Prieto are three of the most celebrated composer-performers of our time.
